After a complex surgery that lasted several hours, performed by the German team of doctor in Munich Clinical Center on 18th January, where was successfully removed the entire pancreatic cancer, Amir Tabak left hospital yesterday. According to information we got from coordinator of OPEN NETWORK, Irma Kolja, who is with Amir in Munich, Professor Werner, head of the surgical team that did surgery, explained to Amir next steps for his further recovery. When he returns to Sarajevo it is necessary to regularly do control examinations and consultation with diabetologist so he can correct insulin therapy because Amir is diabetic. Problem of metastatic processes on the liver should be resolved with therapy that he should continue to use. It was given to him in clinical center of Barcelona where Amir previously treated his medical condition under Program of OPEEN NETWORK. Those metastatic processes on the liver should not be removed surgically at this point.
“I feel good, everything went great and I have no pain. I’ll see you soon, and send you love and kisses “- said Amir.
In the future, under coordination of OPEN NETWORK, Amir needs to stay in direct communication with Professor Werner and he will continue to monitor Amir’s health condition.
Amir Tabak accompanied with coordinator of OPEN NETWORK, will return tomorrow to Sarajevo, and to all of you who supported Amir’s story together with us due the first unique humanitarian numbers of OPEN NETWORK, 1330 and 1350, THANK YOU.
