OPEN NETWORK IN ACTION: FIRST pre-transplantation examinations
Sabrina Hajvaz, 9 years old girl from Tuzla, is currently in the French city, Toulouse, where she began the procedure of pre-transplant examinations for cadaver transplantation. She is there with coordinator of OPEN NETWORK, Irma Kolja and her mother Devleta. Today she had first examinations including consultations with otolaryngologist, dentist and maxillofacial surgeon, and in coming days she will have other detailed analyzes and that will enable this young girl to be on national priority list of France and also to have transplantation. The examinations were performed in prestigious children’s clinics Hospital des Enfants and Hospital Pierre Paul Riquet, and all that was done under the guidance of a reputable dr. Arnaud Garnier and the entire team of French doctors. Friends of Sabrina from class V-2 of Elementary school ”Solina” with teacher Alma Skrobic, were all the time with her and they helped her in previous period. Now when most important thing is happening, since they can not be with her, they send her a picture supporting her and sending wishes for best luck and braveness. To remind you, Sabrina is the fifth child in transplantation program of OPEN NETWORK who will be on national list of France as a national priority for cadaveric kidney transplant.
