Sarajevo: Eldin Brkovic returned from Tubingen
Last night, at 7:25 P.M., a 21-year old Eldin Brković from Doboj, came back to Bosnia &Herzegovina by airplane from Stuttgart, after successfully completed therapy in Tübingen (Germany). Exactly 120 days ago, accompanied by his mother Sajda Brković, and OPEN NETWORK coordinator Samira Begović, who were with him during his treatment , Eldin went to Tübingen as a patient in OPEN NETWORK program, because that was the only way to save his life as bone marrow transplantation is not performed in Bosnia & Herzegovina. According to all the official information that OPEN NETWORK received from Clinical Center in Tübingen, Eldin Brković is coming back to Bosnia & Herzegovina with neat medical files which makes us very happy. Just to remind you that Brkić family, after being released in media and social websites that the OPEN NETWORK received official approval for Eldin’s treatment in Tübingen, has raised part of the funds in a very short period of time for Eldin’s treatment, and with the guaranty from OPEN NETWORK that the rest of the funds will be raised, Eldin was sent for treatment on time. On this occasion, OPEN NETWORK would like to thank the Hadzikadunić family from Tübingen, who hosted Eldin and his mother in their home during the treatment period. Last night at the Sarajevo airport Eldin was greeted by family and friends. You can see photos from his return below.
